Accept, adapt and overcome

If you've been following my journey over the last few years,  you'll know how much I have enjoyed challenging myself,  setting goals and working towards them,  particularly with Sports and Exercise, such as soccer/football, running and CrossFit. After moving back to Dubai in January 2020,  I had some wonderful plans in mind to take my CrossFit training to the next level,  but of course, I returned to a more demanding teaching job, COVID-19 happened  and life presented me with the usual ups and downs. Most notably, I have been facing some health issues  which have particularly impacted my digestion, my sleep and my energy levels and therefore,  I have really had to force myself to take a step back from long and high intensity workouts. Adopting a more reserved approach to training hasn't been easy for me,  but I must admit that I have learned a lot in doing so.  First and foremost, I have
